Richard Logan, R.N, BSN

RICHARD LOGAN, RN, BSN – After leaving the US Army as an Army Ranger, Richard earned his BSN from Concordia University in 1995 and has worked in hospital settings primarily providing acute care for patients in Illinois, Hawaii, and California. Over his career, Richard has seen the toll that physical illness can have on both the patient and the patient’s family or loved ones – and also the effect of illness on our mental well being as well.
In 2020 as a practicing nurse, Richard enrolled at Walden University’s MSN program with a post-graduate certificate for a position as a Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner, graduating in 2022. His areas of particular interest now in private practice are anxiety/mood disorders, internet gaming addiction disorder, and adolescent mental health issues.
Richard grew up on the Southside of Chicago and is fond of the area and it’s people. After moving to Hawaii in 2001, where he met his wife, he returned in 2006 to start a family in Chicago where he grew up. Today, Richard and his wife have a teenage daughter, 2 cats, and a dog. When not working or studying, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, playing the ukulele, and reading.
