Ms Sheila Baxter, LPC Is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been in Private Practice for more than four years.  Ms. Baxter holds a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Chicago State University and also an undergraduate degree from CSU in Psychology and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling (AODA). She is also trained as a Pharmacy Technician.

Ms. Baxter enjoys working with diverse populations inclusive of counseling for individuals, couples and youth. Ms. Baxter also has experience working with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).  Ms. Baxter welcomes people of all orientations and ethnicities. Sheila has traveled and lived extensively abroad and her passions are traveling, writing in her spare time, and staying up to date on world events.
