Elise Johnson, M.A. LPC – graduated from Chicago State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently finishing her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology also at Chicago State University (expected July 2023). Elise joins the clinical staff at The Psychology Center as a Clinical Therapist.

In her clinical work Elise utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy as her initial treatment choices but also follows the needs of her clients.. She has a particular interest in serving children and young adults who may be struggling with various issues, and offers both IN office and Telepsychology appointments to her clients. She also has an interest in forensic issues related to psychology.

In her free time Elise enjoys spending time with her son, oil painting, traveling, and taking weekly trips to Target .
